Austware is a family owned and run business dedicated to the manufacture of the Austware Vegetable Peeler and other nifty products. Having begun in 1990 and currently running with the second generation, we manufacture a product which is proving to be an essential item in both commercial and domestic kitchens throughout South Africa.

We supply the Austware Peeler to many of the large-scale, commercial fruit & veg processing plants, such as Interfruits, In2Food (old Lombardi’s), Deli Veg, Just Fruit & Veg, Natural Value Foods, Farmwise Fresh to Go, Greenpak, Laastedrif Boerdery, Limpopo Produce Marketing, Ross Philip, Subtropico, African Beginnings, Bell Ceres, J.A.B Dried Fruits, Landman Dried Produce, Lucky Farms, Mr Chips, Veg Pro and Waterfall Farm Fresh etc.

We also supply many chef schools, such as the Institute of Culinary Arts, a chef’s school in Stellenbosch, who have been loyal customers for many years.  Banks Catering Supply Shop, in Salt River have stocked our peeler for many years too, and they have reported that the Austware Peeler is their fastest moving fruit & veg peeler and also the only one they do not have comebacks about.
